...Active from 1980 until 1983 in the new wave /
post-punk scene of Colchester (eg. Modern English, Living In Texas),
they had given numerous concerts at the time (playing along with Troops
For Tomorrow, supporting The Passage etc).
Their sole release was
the nowadays extra-rare 'Perfect Eyes / Halloween' 7" single on
Rhythmic Records, which is currently traded among collectors for pretty
high prices in the second-hand vinyl market. 3 extra previously
unreleased songs which were recorded in December 1981 in Octopus Studios
(Transparent Illusion, The Adicts etc), were found & were carefully
transferred from what appears to be the *last cassette copy* that
survived the test of time…
All of the material was remastered
from Chris Manolitsis during summer 2013, well-known for his engineering
work with numerous bands from the greek underground scene during the
80s. Release is strictly limited to 303 hand-numbered copies (152
pressed on transparent blue vinyl), and comes accompanied with insert
containing an archival band photo & short bio documenting the DIY
spirit of the era - written directly from band member Martin Golding.
